The Business Account Manager is responsible for the marketing and sale of ShoreTel business communication systems, licenses and maintenance programs to new business customers.  The Business Account Manager will focus their marketing and sales activity on accounts that have 50+ employees. Top Level Expectations

  • Annual Sales Expectations: $600,000+ (First year $400,000)
  • Build and maintain 12-month pipeline of opportunities to 1 million plus and a minimum of 30 working opportunities.

Duties:

  • Cultivate and maximize new opportunities developed through:
  1. Utilize prospect data base provided by company
  2. Cold Calling
  3. Cultivating referrals
  4. Working and developing an alliance network
  5. Creativity and initiative
  • Respond to company generated leads.
  • Qualify customer’s ability to purchase and only pursue qualified leads.
  • Evaluate customer needs during on site visit.
  • Prepare and present proposals/quotes.
  • Manage appropriate and timely proposal follow up.
  • Return all customer calls within 24 hours.
  • Follow the Inflow Sales Process
  • Enter all sales activity in company CRM on a daily basis.
  • Enter all sales orders in company database and billing system as required.
  • Coordinate and support installation efforts as requested or required.
  • Attend and participate in vendor and company held training.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and coordinate solutions with required departments.
  • Complete all administrative paperwork and data entry per company guidelines.
  • Manage territory travel-smart and efficiently.
  • Utilize internal resources wisely to secure business deals.
  • Use the seminar marketing process to generate prospects and move sales along.

Ramp up expectations

First 30 days:

  • Begin a sales process with10 new prospects qualified to purchase within 12 months 50 – 100 employees.
  • Complete ShoreTel certification
  • Shadow Travis on demos

First 31-60 days:

  • Begin a sales process with 4 new prospects qualified to purchase within 12 months and have 50-100 employees.
  • Potential pipeline grows to $250,000
  • Conduct 5+ discovery meetings
  • Conduct 2 demos
  • Have _____ attendees registered or attending upcoming seminar.
  • Support upcoming seminar

First 61-90 days:

  • Begin a sales process with 4 new prospects qualified to purchase within 12 months and have 50 – 100 employees.
  • Potential pipeline grows to $500,000
  • Conduct 6+ discovery meetings
  • Conduct 3+ demos

Second Quarter
